Alva Beaman (May 22, 1775 – November 1837) was an early associate of Joseph Smith and a member of the Latter Day Saint movement. ==Biography== Alva was born on May 22, 1775, in Berkshire, Massachusetts.〔http://www.moroni10.com/witnesses/Alva_Beman.html〕 On August 18, 1796, Alva married. The couple ultimately had eight children.
